Asevotech President Wesley Holden Nominated for 2009 Up and Comers Awards
Asevotech is pleased to announce their nomination of Owner Wesley Holden for Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2009 Up and Comers Awards. The awards, sponsored by Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and Mark Fitzgerald's Sandler Sales Institute, were established to identify Tampa Bay's up & coming executives, entrepreneurs, and sales representatives. But other nominees can include teachers, health care professionals, sports icons or other individuals who are focused on success.
“It’s a great honor to be nominated this year among so many fantastic people,” says Holden. “I’ve spent a great amount of time and energy making Asevotech the best it can be. So it feels wonderful when all that hard work is acknowledged by others outside the company.”
The Up and Comers Awards have two age categories for those under 30 and those between 30-40 years of age, with Holden nominated in the 30-40 age group.
“Yes, there are nominees who are younger than me, but I’m not sure if they can match the same passion I have for Asevotech. We began by specializing in custom software development, but have since expanded into other arenas that mean so much to so many people – particularly in the area of helping with disaster relief,” Holden explains.
“Having a job that makes getting up each morning worthwhile is wonderful,” says Holden. “But I found that being respected and recognized by folks like Tampa Bay’s Up and Comers Awards is pretty great too.”
