Asevotech Announces New Partnership with K2 Hosting

Tampa, FL – Asevotech is pleased to announce their new partnership with K2 Hosting. By partnering with K2, Asevotech clients will have a trusted source for their website hosting, as well as offsite backup and storage.

“We have been working with K2 Hosting for our web hosting and data storage for quite a while,” says CEO Wes Holden. “They are a trusted company with a proven track record of connectivity, uptime, and data security. When we were awarded the Florida IT State Term Contract, we knew that the number of clients requiring web hosting for the solutions that we provide them was going to increase. Therefore, we entered into a partnership agreement with K2 to provide web hosting, remote backup, and dedicated servers to our clients. So far we have been very pleased.”

K2 Hosting specializes in Cloud Computing technology services to reduce the cost of business continuity for organizations. Their services include:

• Remote Backup: Remote Backup uses a client/server model to exchange data over the Internet. This system works basically like regular tape backups, with one important difference: instead of sending backups to a tape drive or other media attached to the computer it is backing up, Remote Backup sends it to another computer safe and securely off-site. It automatically does this (usually) at night while the business is closed and nobody is using the computers.

• Web Hosting: Shared servers are an excellent choice for entry-level web-sites or for small businesses. They are less costly to rent than dedicated servers and usually require a lower level of technical skills too, because the host does most of the server administration.

• Dedicated Servers: K2 Hosting provides powerful dedicated servers for clients looking for the very best in network connectivity. When renting server space from a host, you basically have two options: to rent shared server space (where your web-site shares server space with other web-sites) or to rent dedicated space. When you choose a dedicated server, you get an entire server and network connection to yourself – guaranteeing a certain level of resources including the processor, memory, disk space, and bandwidth.
